Hijo de fotógrafo, conoce el oficio desde la infancia del cual hace su profesión. Tiene su estudio en Jaraíz de la Vera, localidad al norte de Cáceres.

La constante preocupación por su formación le lleva a especializarse, junto a su hermano Tomás, en el positivado de blanco y negro, trasladando esta pasión desde el laboratorio a las nuevas tecnologías.

Participa como ponente, compartiendo su experiencia, en seminarios de fotografía para diversas asociaciones nacionales.

Es nombrado por FEPFI ( Federación española de profesionales de la fotografía y la imagen) Fotógrafo distinguido, Maestro Fotógrafo y Juez Calificador.

Reconocido por la FEP ( Federación Europea de profesionales) Con el certificado de Calidad (Qualified European Photografer) En el apartado de Boda.

 As the son of a photographer who developed an interest in photography when he still was very young Javier Avís Barrado learnt the high art of photography from scratch.

His photographic studio is in Jaraíz de la Vera in Cáceres, in the northern part of the autonomous community of Extremadura in Spain.

In the course of his further education he specialized together with his brother Tomás in black and white photography by means of the newest technology.

Javier Avís Barrado gives speeches for several national associations, talking in seminars about his experience as a professional photographer.

He was appointed ‘Photography Maestro’, ‘Distinguished Photographer’ and ‘Assessing Judge’ by the Spanish Federation of Professionals of Photography and Imaging.

He obtained the ‘Qualified European Photographer Certificate’ in Wedding Photography by the Federation of European Professional Photographers.
